My Voice Opened Doors and Closed the Right Ones
Share
Here is a realisation I had recently.
When I used my voice to express what I needed, things flowed smoothly. I received what I asked for with ease. It made me realise that what used to stop me wasn’t reality, it was my thoughts. Beneath them was a deeper fear: the fear of being rejected.
When I used my voice to speak my truth and ask for what I deserve, something unexpected happened. What I already wanted to stop… stopped.
There was no complete communication and decision was made on the other end. It caught me off guard at first, but then I felt completely clear about what had happened.
I also realised how much I had depended on my husband in the past. Without knowing it, I created blame, pressure, unspoken expectations, and repeated experiences.
Speaking now, with my own voice, changed everything.
Asking opened doors.
Speaking my truth created closure.
And here’s the bonus lesson: when I fully opened up, I found I could fluently speak in an unfamiliar language. I didn’t hold back, I just trusted that I could express what I wanted to achieve. This surprised me. Language itself wasn’t the barrier I thought it was. It was my mind, my past experiences - the blocks I carried, that stopped me from communicating clearly.
Thank you for this chance to recreate a new experience. One where I stand in my own power and let life meet me there.
