A Pause That Realigned Me Before What’s Next
Share
This feels like a new milestone for me.
Since October 2025, life has been moving at a very fast pace.
Things unfolded quickly. Time passed quickly.
And somewhere along the way, my body began asking me to slow down.
I was holding space for others, supporting my case studies while quietly walking through my own healing at the same time.
As I guided others, I was also learning, adjusting, and meeting my own limits.
There were moments my body couldn’t keep up.
Falling sick on and off.
Still showing up.
Still caring for my children.
Still moving forward.
It was intense.
And then, something unexpected happened this month.
I was given a pause.
My child fell sick and had to be hospitalised.
And just like that, my schedule cleared for two full weeks.
No planning.
No control.
Just space.
What could have felt overwhelming… became something else entirely.
It became rest.
A deep, uninterrupted reset that I didn’t even realize I needed.
For those two weeks, it was just us 24/7.
No rushing. No distractions. No splitting of energy.
And what surprised me the most was this:
There was no meltdown.
No emotional spirals.
No triggering, no fighting, no drama.
Just… presence.
We were simply together.
Companions in recovery.
Understanding each other in a quiet, steady way.
The bonding felt effortless. Natural. Whole.
And in that stillness, I saw something clearly: I have grown.
Not just in what I do but in who I am.
As a person.
As a mother.
As a wife.
This journey has gone deeper than I expected.
And this pause… was not an interruption.
It was an arrangement.
A moment created for me to rest, to realign, and to return back to myself before stepping forward again toward my dreams.
Grateful for the pause that changed everything.
